What inspired you to get involved with Tech & AI LIVE: New York?

Provide us with an overview of what your keynote will focus on.

My talk is titled 'Seeing beyond the hype - understanding the hype cycle of emerging technology'. During this, I will give several detailed examples of recent emerging technologies and explore how understanding the hype cycle, the technology and your strategic business imperatives will provide a better framework to make strategic investments.

What do you hope to achieve through our event?

I would like to share the best practices and examples in the industry to show that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. I will also allow attendees to understand some of the fundamentals that will help them make better business decisions in the technology and AI industries.

Domnhaill Hernon, Global Lead for the EY Metaverse Lab.

What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of the technology and AI industries over the next decade?

I believe one's data strategy will continue to be the defining driver of success in leveraging AI technologies. Furthermore, significant shifts are taking place with younger generations in how they choose to engage online and that will drive businesses towards more gamified and 3D experiences (aka the metaverse).
