AWS & Veritone to Drive Media AI and Cloud Transformation
A new partnership between tech giant AWS and Veritone is designed to help businesses with a scalable AI solution.
This new offering will be integrated with a robust cloud infrastructure and will support organisations currently struggling to understand and implement disruptive technologies effectively. Unlocking AI at scale is now the aim of plenty of businesses, with AWS and Veritone poised to drive AI and cloud innovation across media, entertainment, sports, talent acquisition and public sectors.
Through this collaboration, Veritone and AWS are uniquely positioned to help businesses overcome digital transformation hurdles by offering powerful and scalable solutions to ensure they can fully harness the transformative potential of enterprise AI, generative AI (Gen AI) and cloud computing.
Unlocking potential with AI and the cloud
As a leading AI and machine learning company, Veritone continues the power ahead in building human-centred enterprise AI solutions. Founded in 2014, the company augments the human workforce by transforming use-case concepts into industry-leading AI applications and solutions.
Its aiWARE technology is licensed and used by leading global media conglomerates, professional sports teams, federal government agencies, energy utilities and police departments.
As the foundation of Veritone’s AI solutions, aiWARE is a leading enterprise AI platform that ingests data from multiple sources, using hundreds of AI engines to help developers and application users successfully transform data sources like audio, video and text. Likewise, its unique architecture allows for real-time processing and analysis.
The company’s three-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS aims to now leverage its technology to accelerate cloud-native enterprise AI and Gen AI for new and existing customers of Veritone. These customers operate across the media, entertainment, sports and public sectors.
“Collaborating with AWS as our preferred cloud provider is another step in helping our customers become cloud-native and enabling them to transform their operations with AI,” comments Ryan Steelberg, President and CEO at Veritone.
“Together we unlock new levels of scalability, performance and creativity in AI initiatives with an array of solutions and consulting services.”
AI and cloud transformation can be critical for a business achieving success and a competitive advantage against others. However, many currently face challenges in implementing these technologies effectively, with research from an IDC InfoBrief highlighting that 42% of CIOs identify training for new AI-driven ways of working as one of their biggest IT challenges.
Implementing new technologies successfully
Harnessing aiWARE, which is powered by Amazon Bedrock, businesses can leverage cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability and performance. As a result, users can optimise content workflows, streamline operations and drive firm business outcomes.
To support customers in their AI journey, Veritone is eager to power ahead with its AI solutions to offer tailored consulting, strategy development, AI application design and implementation support, meeting customers at any stage of their digital transformation.
Veritone is also a founding member of the Gen AI Center of Excellence for AWS partners and contributes frequently as a thought leader to the AWS Machine Learning Blog, responsible AI partner initiatives and the AWS Generative AI Incubation Centre. The AI leader also holds multiple technology integrations and shared customers actively using its products on AWS.
More generally, AWS continues to power ahead with its cloud and AI offerings, with its transformational efforts now making up 18% of Amazon’s total revenues, in addition to 63% of its total income.
The organisation continues to lead the global cloud market and has a clear and robust strategy to unlock greater Gen AI opportunities.
“Gen AI is going to disrupt and change almost every industry and customer experience in the world,” Matt Garman, CEO of AWS, said in a recent interview. “It’s an area where we have invested heavily, and will continue to do so. AWS is well positioned to build it.”
