Every year from 2020, the BIGO Excellence Scholarship, set to run in perpetuity, will fund two graduating students with $10,000 each.

In its press release, BIGO noted that it is keen to seek out talent from within the university, and it has committed to engaging students with practical sessions and internships with the potential for hiring such interns as permanent staff.

"Given the dynamic Singapore IT and AI landscape, we are anxious to groom and retain young talents for BIGO,” said Jason Hu, President at BIGO.
