With a career spanning more than 30 years, Lex Coor is the Chief Data Centre Technology and Engineering Officer at Digital Realty. In his current role, Lex specialises in the design of versatile, cost-effective and energy-efficient data centre infrastructure.
Lex has supervised the design and build of more than 70 data centres and developed close to 600,000m² of gross space with over 300,000 m² net space across Western Europe and Africa.
Lex has also pioneered several new approaches to data centre design and management, including the improvement of power ratio efficiency between server load and transformer load, and the industry’s first-ever modular approach to data centre architecture.
