Behind Beyond.pl's Polish AI Factory Featuring Nvidia Tech

Beyond.pl has announced the launch of a sovereign AI Factory at its data centre campus in Poznan, Poland.
This strategic deployment places Beyond.pl among the leading operators in the Central Eastern European (CEE) region to provide an extensive platform that underpins all aspects of AI development, including AIaaS, GPU as a Service, Nvidia AI Enterprise software, advanced data centre infrastructure and comprehensive managed services.
To enable this, the Polish operator has partnered with Pure Storage to facilitate access to sovereign next-generation infrastructure and software services specifically designed for AI applications, in collaboration with Nvidia.
The new offering is built on Nvidia DGX SuperPOD, which incorporates the Nvidia Blackwell GPU architecture, utilising DGX B200 systems that are interconnected via NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking.
"“We are investing in cutting-edge infrastructure and software that provides gigantic computing power so that businesses driving innovation in Poland and the CEE region can do so while ensuring control over data and the IP that they create with the ability to competitively scale their innovations globally, without any constraints,” says Wojciech Stramski, Beyond.pl CEO.
“The introduction of the Nvidia DGX SuperPOD, the world’s most modern AI supercomputer, to Beyond.pl eliminates the critical problem of lack of access to sovereign high-performance computing power to further the democratisation of access to AI.”
Delivering sovereign AI computing
“AI has made a giant leap - reasoning and agentic AI demand orders of magnitude more computing performance”
The introduction also involves the integration of Pure Storage FlashBlade//S500 systems, a scalable file and object storage solution certified for Nvidia DGX SuperPOD.
This setup, when combined with Nvidia Spectrum Ethernet networking, enables the simultaneous processing of multiple data streams, which significantly reduces data loading times and accelerates model training and inference workloads.
“We are delighted to support Beyond.pl and its customers throughout the CEE region. Our partnership provides organisations with access to solutions which will enhance AI projects through validated designs to support customer's complex needs,” says Omar Akar, RVP, METCA region at Pure Storage.
“Pure Storage's enterprise capabilities, experience in scaling AI solutions for customers, and seamless SuperPOD integration with FlashBlade means we're well positioned to support Beyond.pl's AI Factory.
“We look forward to further collaboration with NVIDIA and Beyond.pl on this exciting new venture.”
Nvidia DGX SuperPOD: Building an AI Factory
The current phase marks the initial step toward establishing a large-scale sovereign AI Factory on Beyond.pl's data centre campus.
The initiative is also focused on leveraging infrastructure powered by renewable energy and efficient power to host Nvidia computing platforms.
The infrastructure is designed to accommodate high-density colocation of up to 140kW per rack, with the campus committed to a power capacity of up to 100MW.
The services comply with European Union regulations including the AI Act, GDPR and NIS2, ensuring that data used for AI model training or inference purposes remains under the control of the customer, thus minimising unauthorised access to critical information.
This development aligns with Nvidia's ongoing commitment to supporting the construction of AI factories, which are specialised data centre infrastructures dedicated to handling AI workloads.
Nvidia's AI supercomputers are foundational to these AI factories, with industry forecasts suggesting the emergence of numerous 'gigawatt AI factories' in coming years to cater to the rising demand for AI computing prowess.
Carlo Ruiz, Vice President, Enterprise Solutions at Nvidia, says: “AI Factories are the engines of a new industrial revolution, enabling nations and enterprises to manufacture intelligence at unprecedented scale.
“The Beyond.pl Nvidia DGX SuperPOD brings transformative AI supercomputing to Central Eastern Europe, empowering innovators with sovereign, high-performance infrastructure to accelerate breakthroughs and fuel the region's global AI ambitions.”
Providing a strong foundation for AI infrastructure
Beyond.pl operates entirely on renewable energy and is also working alongside Veolia Energia Poznan on a heat recovery project capable of reclaiming approximately 30MW of waste heat in its first phase.
This initiative marks Poland's first collaboration between a data centre and a district heating company for heat recovery.
