Pearson hires new Head of Artificial Intelligence

Digital education company Pearson has announced the appointment of Milena Marinova as its new Senior Vice President of AI Products and Solutions, highlighting the company’s efforts to explore the use of new technologies within the industry.

Marinova will be tasked with heading up the company’s AI efforts as it looks to implement new and existing technologies such as machine learning and data analytics into new and existing products.

Marinova joins Pearson from Intel where she stood as Senior Director of AI Solutions, leading the development of commercial applications of AI across a range of Industries.

Further, previously she has held executive roles at Idealab and Hyundai Capital America.
