How The Hexaware & AWS Cloud Partnership is Accelerating AI

The enterprise cloud computing market continues to evolve as organisations seek to integrate AI capabilities with their infrastructure modernisation efforts.
This evolution is demanding technology service providers to strengthen their cloud partnerships, particularly in areas such as Gen AI and data analytics.
In this environment, Hexaware Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with AWS to expand its cloud adoption and AI capabilities.
This transformation is happening as enterprises across sectors face mounting pressure to modernise legacy systems while simultaneously deploying AI solutions.
As a result, this partnership aims to address this market dynamic by combining AWS's cloud infrastructure with Hexaware's expertise in systems integration and AI development.
AWS and Hexaware target legacy system modernisation
This partnership centres on helping enterprises move their existing computer systems to cloud infrastructure, a process known as migration.
This means that Hexaware will utilise its AWS Migration and Modernisation Consulting Competency status, a technical certification that validates expertise in moving complex applications to AWS platforms.
The company also plans to combine AWS's cloud technologies with its proprietary Amaze platform, a suite of tools that automates the migration of legacy applications.
This integration adheres to AWS Foundational Technical Review guidelines, a framework that ensures applications meet AWS's technical best practices for security and reliability.
"This collaboration will enable us to harness the collective powers of all our service lines and verticals to enhance digital transformations by adding a layer of ease and predictability for customers," says Apurva Kadakia, Global Head of Cloud at Hexaware Technologies.
Gen AI platforms drive enterprise transformation
Central to the collaboration is RapidX, Hexaware's platform for software engineering that incorporates Gen AI, which is designed to improve developer productivity and software quality metrics for cloud-native product development.
This allows the partnership to span multiple sectors including retail, banking, healthcare and transport.
Hexaware has already released several domain-specific Gen AI solutions on AWS Marketplace, an online software store for AWS customers.
Customer experience and data analytics take centre stage
The collaboration emphasises real-time data analytics capabilities, enabling organisations to extract immediate insights from their operational data, which aligns with increasing demand from sectors such as retail and banking for rapid data processing capabilities.
Meanwhile, in the healthcare and life sciences sector, the partnership addresses specific challenges around handling complex medical data.
"Integrating Amazon Bedrock with Hexaware was productive for us. It helped tackle unstructured medical data in legal cases, reducing manual review time by 90%," says Amy Dennerlein, Chief Executive Officer at Realize-365, a legal technology company.
“This shift allowed legal professionals to focus on strategic preparation.”
Furthermore, the sports industry represents another sector benefiting from the combined technologies, as FanCapital utilises AWS platforms to enhance fan engagement through Amazon Neptune, a graph database service that enables complex relationship mapping between users and content.
"With AWS platforms, FanCapital elevates digital fan engagement," says Aidan Lyons, Chief Executive Officer of FanCapital.”
Powered by the fan graph on Amazon Neptune, we are enabling sports stars and their fans to connect and enabling delivery of precision marketing and personalised interactions that keep the excitement alive, on and off the field.”
Operational efficiency through cloud adoption
The partnership additionally aims to reduce operational costs for customers through accelerated migration processes.
Furthermore, Hexaware's approach combines AWS native accelerators, pre-built software components that speed up development, with its Amaze platform to streamline the transition to cloud infrastructure.
This integration enables organisations to modernise their technology stack while maintaining business continuity and the focus extends beyond initial migration to ongoing optimisation of cloud resources and application performance.
The collaboration also includes provisions for legacy modernisation initiatives, addressing the challenge many organisations face with outdated systems, which enables businesses to update their technology infrastructure while preserving critical business logic and data.
Rima Olinger, Managing Director of North America Partners at AWS summarises: "The collaboration between Hexaware and AWS will provide our joint customers globally with an accelerated path to modernize critical workloads to AWS led by our shared dedication to innovating on behalf of customers.
“AWS and Hexaware together will deliver tailored solutions, backed by Gen AI, to help customers improve productivity, insights, and value to their unique business challenges.”
