Organisations are increasingly looking to harness the power of AI
Wipro has integrated Dell’s AI Factory into its Enterprise AI-Ready Platform, promising to revolutionise how businesses implement and scale AI solutions

Wipro has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Dell Technologies, aimed at integrating Dell’s AI Factory into Wipro’s Enterprise AI-Ready Platform, marking a pivotal step in making AI more accessible and manageable for businesses.

The collaboration comes at a time when organisations are increasingly looking to harness the power of AI whilst grappling with the complexities of implementation. By combining Wipro’s expertise in technology services and consulting with Dell’s robust hardware solutions, the partnership seeks to address key challenges in AI adoption, including cost control and risk mitigation.

“Enterprises are keen to utilise their own data and business context to train, fine-tune, and deploy AI on Dell solutions,” comments Jo Debecker, Managing Partner & Global Head of Wipro FullStride Cloud. “This approach effectively and efficiently integrates advanced AI into their core business processes, bringing AI to the data rather than moving data to AI.”

Our goal is to make AI consumption as efficient, agile, reliable, and sustainable as possible - ultimately helping advance the adoption of enterprise-level AI.

Solution driving AI adoption across enterprises

The Dell AI Factory with Nvidia – first announced at Nvidia’s 2024 GTC event – integrates Dell’s leading compute, storage, networking, workstations and laptops, with Nvidia’s advanced AI infrastructure and Nvidia Enterprise AI software.

The integration of Dell AI Factory into Wipro’s platform is set to provide enterprises with access to cutting-edge AI processing power without the need for extensive upfront investment. This is particularly crucial as businesses seek to leverage generative AI capabilities across their operations. The solution incorporates Dell Validated Designs for Generative AI, supported by the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform and powered by Nvidia H100 Tensor Core GPUs.

A key component of this offering is the Wipro AI Control Center – an advanced orchestration layer within the Enterprise AI-Ready Platform – that is designed to facilitate the seamless integration of AI into IT and business processes, offering robust governance, observability and automation capabilities.

The partnership addresses a growing trend in the tech industry: the need for localised AI processing. As data privacy concerns and regulatory requirements become more stringent, businesses are increasingly looking for solutions that allow them to keep their data on-premises or within their controlled environments. This collaboration enables enterprises to build AI ecosystems tailored to their specific needs and constraints.

Denise Millard, Chief Partner Officer at Dell Technologies, highlighted the market dynamics driving this collaboration: “As the market demand for AI enabled solutions continues to climb, Dell is innovating at every level of the AI technology stack to deliver future-proof data centres.

“By leveraging the Dell AI Factory in Wipro’s Enterprise AI-Ready Platform, we're providing customers with a comprehensive collection of products, solutions and services to accelerate their AI initiatives.”

One of the key advantages of this partnership is its potential to democratise access to advanced AI capabilities. Traditionally, implementing AI solutions at scale has been the preserve of large corporations with substantial resources. However, by providing a more flexible and cost-effective approach, Wipro and Dell are potentially opening up these capabilities to a broader range of businesses.

The collaboration also addresses the growing trend of edge computing in AI applications. As organisations seek to process data closer to its source for improved latency and data sovereignty, the ability to deploy AI solutions across cloud, data centre and edge environments becomes enables businesses to implement AI where it makes the most sense for their operations.

As Jo Debecker concludes: “The solutions we have created as part of this collaboration will help enterprises achieve new levels of flexibility when building their enterprise-specific AI ecosystems. Our goal is to make AI consumption as efficient, agile, reliable and sustainable as possible – ultimately helping advance the adoption of enterprise-level AI.”
