Berklee College of Music enhances meeting room workflows with Logitech’s intuitive, scalable and reliable video conferencing solutions

Empowering Collaboration with Simple, Scalable Solutions

For organisations seeking to improve the ease and efficiency of communication, Logitech offers video conferencing solutions that focus on reliability, user-friendliness and scalability. By standardising technology to align with customer needs, Logitech ensures seamless collaboration across diverse settings.

Berklee College of Music, an institution renowned for fostering creativity and artistic excellence, integrates Logitech’s solutions into its meeting spaces, enabling administrative and creative teams to collaborate effectively. Berklee’s use of Logitech solutions exemplifies how video tools create a consistent and connected working environment.

Enhancing Meeting Room Efficiency

In 2023, Berklee embarked on modernising its conferencing infrastructure. The college prioritised tools that would complement its standardisation on Zoom as its collaboration platform, while offering straightforward functionality. Logitech’s Rally portfolio, video conferencing accessories and supporting software and services stood out as the best choice.

“As an institution managing diverse spaces, we needed a platform that unified our workflows while offering remote management capabilities. Logitech checked all those boxes,” explains Varun Nayyar, Director of Classroom Technology at Berklee.

Today, more than 30 meeting spaces at Berklee are equipped with Logitech systems, ensuring consistency across the campus.  Since implementing the solution, Varun reported that their overall help tickets have come down. Plans are underway to expand adoption to include an additional 15 rooms, reinforcing Berklee’s confidence in the solutions’ scalability.

“We rely on systems we can count on to work seamlessly across different rooms,” adds Varun. “This uniformity instils trust in our administrative staff and faculty who use the technology daily.”

Key Features of Logitech’s Solutions

Berklee’s decision to adopt Logitech was based on several critical features:

  • Ease of use: Logitech delivers intuitive interfaces, ensuring that stakeholders can quickly adapt to the tools without extensive training.
  • Centralised management: Through the Sync Portal, IT administrators can troubleshoot, update, and analyse device performance remotely, saving time and reducing disruptions.
  • Seamless compatibility: Logitech’s integration with Zoom reinforced Berklee’s trust in the seamless operation of its conferencing ecosystem.
  • Reliability: Berklee was looking for a dependable solution that wouldn’t result in a lot of downtime. Joel Johnson, Senior Account Manager at Logitech, comments that, “Berklee has reported almost no technical issues since rollout. That reliability is why they continue to expand Logitech’s footprint on campus.”

Additionally, Logitech’s commitment to sustainability — such as designing products with recycled materials and reducing packaging waste – align with Berklee’s environmental values.

Looking Ahead

With the success of its current deployment, Berklee’s administration and IT teams are exploring additional uses for Logitech technology, which could extend beyond meeting rooms to future spaces for increased collaboration.

“Logitech doesn’t just deliver products - they actively listen and tailor solutions to meet our need.,”

Joel highlighted Logitech’s role in fostering robust partnerships: “We focus on developing practical tools that solve real problems for our customers. Berklee’s continued trust inspires us to refine our services even further.”

By prioritising simplicity, sustainability and reliability, Logitech ensures institutions like Berklee can maintain efficient workflows and strong connections while adapting to future needs.
