Job To Johnson & Johnson - SVP, CIO of Corporate Business Technology
Johnson & Johnson, the global healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturer, has appointed Chris Della Rocca as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of corporate business technology.
In this position, Della Rocca will direct technology strategy across Johnson & Johnson's corporate functions, including human resources, finance, legal, corporate affairs, and technical operations and risk. He will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Jim Swanson, who joined the company in 2019 from Bayer.
Della Rocca moves to this role from his previous position as CIO of technical operations and risk at Johnson & Johnson, a role he assumed in January 2024. His tenure at the company spans nearly two decades, during which he has held several technology leadership positions. In 2019, he became CIO for Janssen Pharmaceuticals Americas, the company's pharmaceutical division.
The appointment comes as Johnson & Johnson continues to expand its technology infrastructure across its corporate divisions. As CIO of corporate business technology, Della Rocca will be responsible for implementing and overseeing technology systems that support the company's core business functions, a crucial role as healthcare manufacturers increase their reliance on digital systems for operations management.
The position encompasses oversight of enterprise-wide technology solutions that support Johnson & Johnson's global operations, which include pharmaceutical development, medical devices, and consumer health products.
