Job To: Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at TD SYNNEX
TD SYNNEX, the global distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem, has appointed Kristie Grinnell as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Kristie joins from DXC Technology, a global consulting, engineering, and technology company, where she served as Chief Information Officer. At DXC, she led an IT organisation of over 1,500 employees, focusing on technology and business integration. Prior to her role at DXC, she held the position of Global CIO and Chief Supply Chain Officer at General Dynamics Information Technology, where she managed IT, cybersecurity, supply chain services, and technology shared services.
She succeeds Bonnie Smith, who is retiring from her role as TD SYNNEX CIO after four years with the company.
TD SYNNEX CEO Patrick Zammit says: "Kristie brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of transformational leadership that will strengthen how we harness the power of data and digital to deliver personalised, targeted customer engagement and operational excellence."
In her new role, Kristie will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) – computer systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence – to enhance customer engagement and operational processes within TD SYNNEX.
Kristie says: "TD SYNNEX has an outstanding reputation for helping its partners and vendors capitalise on market opportunities and make IT personal for their customers. I am thrilled to join the company and look forward to driving innovation and maximising AI opportunities to enhance our customer engagement and operational excellence."
Beyond her corporate roles, Kristie is known for her advocacy for women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. She has been involved with organisations including Girls Who Code, STEMforHER, and Uniting Women in Cyber.
Kristie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Cornell University. She will be based in the TD SYNNEX Clearwater office in Florida.
