A near 18-year veteran of Amazon, Matt Garman was last month announced as Adam Selipsky’s successor at the helm of AWS. Joining AWS full-time in 2006 as one of its first product managers, Garman's contributions have been pivotal in shaping AWS into the cloud computing powerhouse it is today.

“I have been fortunate enough to get to work on many different aspects of the AWS business, but one constant has been the world class talent and the unwavering customer obsession of the people I have gotten to work with,” he says. “I am more optimistic than I have ever been for the potential for innovation and growth ahead of us, and I look forward to helping us move faster, invent more, and operate as one team to help our customers.”

Kevin O'Buckley

Job From: SVP Hardware Engineering, Marvell Technologies

Job To: SVP & General Manager Foundry Services, Intel

Intel has announced the appointment of Kevin O'Buckley as SVP and GM of Foundry Services, the customer service and ecosystem operations division of Intel Foundry. He will spearhead the growth of Intel’s foundry business and continue to build out its ecosystem of intellectual property and electronic design automation partners.

Job From: Global Head of Business Operations, Wipro

Job To: Chief Operating Officer, Wipro

Sanjeev Jain is a member of the Wipro Executive Committee and Chief Operating Officer, replacing former COO Amit Choudhary who stood down in May.

Jain is responsible for improving organisational and operational efficiency to drive sustainable, profitable and delivery-led growth with client-centricity, and leads the functions of global business operations, delivery excellence, IT, information security, and enterprise risk management.

Young Hyun Jun

Job From: Head, Future Business Planning Unit, Samsung

Job To: Head, Device Solutions Division, Samsung

Young Hyun Jun has been named as Samsung’s new Head of Device Solutions Division, leading its semiconductor business. Jun, who has extensive experience in the semiconductor and battery businesses, joined Samsung Electronics in 2000. He became Head of the Memory Business in 2014 and CEO of Samsung SDI in 2017, before leading its Future Business Division in 2024.
