Working with Clark County’s CIO Bob Leek and his leadership, Dave sets out to carry out Bob’s vision of government services evoking the same seamless experience as consumer voice shopping. 

By supporting connected services for Clark County residents and visitors as well as employees, structured services exist for life and civic moments, like moving to Clark County, starting a business and filing for marriage licenses.

“Trace3 is helping build a foundation that creates a smooth digital path that anticipates the needs of these phases,” Dave says.

Trace3’s role is to help make this vision a reality by laying the digital foundation, leveraging platforms like ServiceNow to build the infrastructure for integrated, connected services. The services it provides is helping to bring clarity to a roadmap of initiatives that is also driving digital equity, ensuring all residents have access to digital services and the benefits they bring. Strategic alignment is central to its approach, as Trace3 will help speed up the more than 100 county projects aimed at seamless service integration and digital transformation.

A key pillar of the partnership is the use of data visibility in ServiceNow that AI can leverage to inform decisions that directly impact the community. By Clark County integrating advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, it will be able to anticipate resident needs and deliver proactive services, provide valuable feedback and insights to improve service delivery and ensure that technology investments translate into real-world benefits for the community.

“Bob’s leadership is really foundational and something that's consistent within Trace3 as far as working with community-first initiatives like ITWorks and SIM Las Vegas,” Dave explains. “It helps us ensure we’re lifting the quality of lives of everybody around us.

“It’s a really good way to embrace the community around you, understand what they're trying to solve and the different challenges they have — then we come up with ideas to solve for them together.”
