What is CloudAvanti – The Firm Targeting Oracle Cloud Gap?

A new consultancy focused on Oracle Cloud implementations has been launched in Canada, positioning itself as a bridge between enterprise-grade expertise and the needs of mid-market organisations. CloudAvanti will offer transformation services across North America, focusing on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
The Toronto-based firm, founded by a team with backgrounds in business transformation and Oracle Cloud implementations, aims to differentiate itself in a market dominated by global consultancies through what it describes as a partnership-based approach.
“Our mission is simple: deliver great outcomes for clients,” said Josh Mills, CEO of CloudAvanti. “Our clients don't need hype – they need execution and results. They want a pragmatic partner who is experienced, flexible, and ready to move with urgency. That's exactly what CloudAvanti is here to provide.”
CloudAvanti leadership structure demonstrates multi-disciplinary Oracle expertise across domains
The company launches with a leadership team covering multiple domains within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem. In addition to Josh Mills as Chief Executive Officer, the leadership includes Pallavi as Managing Director and ERP/EPM Practice Leader, Kapil Baliyan as Managing Director for Technology and Application Management Services, and Sambhavi Balasubramanian as HCM Practice Leader. The team also includes Steve Wakeham as Senior Organisational Change Management Advisor and Rakesh Kumar as Offshore Delivery Lead.
According to an article launching its offerings, the company’s service portfolio includes strategic readiness assessments, business case development, implementation roadmaps and full lifecycle implementation services. CloudAvanti also offers post-implementation support through Application Management Support and optimisation services.
Josh notes that the company structure was designed to address specific challenges he observed in the market. “We built CloudAvanti to be intentionally different,” he says.
CloudAvanti Oracle Cloud services address implementation challenges with technology approach
The consultancy's service portfolio includes automation and AI integration specifically targeting common implementation challenges. CloudAvanti says its technical approach applies these technologies to development processes, testing protocols, and reporting functions — areas where mid-market implementations traditionally face efficiency barriers.
“We apply automation, AI and accelerators to targeted areas like development, testing and reporting to reduce risk and increase speed without sacrificing quality or scalability,” Josh explains.
The firm offers Application Health Checks and AI Enablement services alongside standard implementation capabilities. For mid-market organisations, these services address persistent challenges including limited IT resources, compressed project timelines, and the need to maintain business operations during system transitions.
CloudAvanti joins Oracle Cloud implementation market with full-service capabilities for mid-market clients
The launch positions CloudAvanti in the growing field of Oracle Cloud implementation partners focused on the mid-market segment. The consultancy offers end-to-end services spanning initial assessment through implementation and ongoing support, with particular emphasis on Organisational Change Management and business readiness – areas that can determine project success or failure.
- Leadership includes specialists across ERP, EPM, HCM and technical practices
- Automation and AI deployed in development, testing and reporting phases
- Services span from strategic assessment through implementation and support
The company aims to provide services comparable to those offered by larger consultancies but with what it characterises as greater flexibility and responsiveness. Its focus on the mid-market suggests targeting organisations with requirements for comprehensive business systems but without the resources or complexity that would necessitate engaging global consulting firms.
Josh emphasises that CloudAvanti was established with core values driving its approach to client engagements. “Our approach is rooted in listening, adapting and scaling solutions to meet the specific needs of each client. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all consulting.”
