Representing a diverse range of industries, IBM named companies including Ergoactiv, Endesa, Performance for Assets (P4A), The Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) and Confindustria as examples.

Ergoactiv, a which specialises in neurorehabilitation, has developed an AI-driven virtual assistant using IBM Cloud to assist patients recovering from strokes as they return to active life.

The Watson-powered solution is designed to help patients overcome confusion and misinterpretation by answering questions and serving as a general source of information for post-stroke care.

Meanwhile, IBM has enabled KRUS, a Polish social insurance provider, to implement a hybrid cloud strategy using IBM Cloud. The move will facilitate a modernisation of the firm’s new e-learning solution that focuses on improving child safety on farms by discussing the principles of safe farm work.

"IBM is writing the next chapter of business and social transformation together with our clients," said IBM Chairman, President and CEO Ginni Rometty in the firm’s statement.

"Companies across Europe and the world are working with IBM to put the hybrid cloud infrastructure in place and to start infusing AI into businesses processes as a means to accelerate future innovation."
