IBM actively driving hybrid cloud and AI solutions in Europe
Tech titan IBM has announced that it is working with a host of enterprises across Europe to drive the distribution of hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence technologies.
Representing a diverse range of industries, IBM named companies including Ergoactiv, Endesa, Performance for Assets (P4A), The Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) and Confindustria as examples.
Ergoactiv, a which specialises in neurorehabilitation, has developed an AI-driven virtual assistant using IBM Cloud to assist patients recovering from strokes as they return to active life.

The Watson-powered solution is designed to help patients overcome confusion and misinterpretation by answering questions and serving as a general source of information for post-stroke care.
Meanwhile, IBM has enabled KRUS, a Polish social insurance provider, to implement a hybrid cloud strategy using IBM Cloud. The move will facilitate a modernisation of the firm’s new e-learning solution that focuses on improving child safety on farms by discussing the principles of safe farm work.

"Companies across Europe and the world are working with IBM to put the hybrid cloud infrastructure in place and to start infusing AI into businesses processes as a means to accelerate future innovation."
