Previous to her current roles with Accenture, Oris Valiente held leadership roles at Deloitte on blockchain, overseeing the Rubix Group. Further, she has since founded the ColliderX, a non-profit blockchain research and development organisation.

“Iliana is a trailblazer in the global blockchain community, with deep experience driving innovations and ground-breaking research,” said Simon Whitehouse, senior managing director and head of Accenture’s global blockchain practice.

“Her knowledge, leadership and ability to act as a conduit between the blockchain developer community and business will be a strong asset to our clients and leadership as we help a range of industries leverage distributed ledger technology.”

Oris Valiente will provide the firm’s clients with advisory services on blockchain in her new role, in addition to being responsible for the development of Accenture’s Blockchain technology capabilities, largely through the recruitment and expansion of the company’s talent pool.
