BCG wins Data & Analytics Award

Boston Consulting Group (BCG), through its technology build and design unit BCG X, is redefining data-driven decision-making in the automotive sector with its Auto AI Conversion Rate Engine.

This tool provides car manufacturers and dealer groups with granular insight into sales conversion performance using an innovative blend of geospatial data, anonymised mobile device tracking and public vehicle registration records.

By tracing dealership footprints, mapping footfall and attributing actual sales, Auto AI enables a previously unattainable level of transparency and comparability across brands and dealer networks.

The solution has transformed sales analysis by shifting away from siloed, incomplete internal datasets and enabling like-for-like benchmarking of conversion rates.

Dealerships can now assess how effectively foot traffic translates into actual car purchases and identify high-performing locations or underachieving sites with precision.

On average, clients have reported a 2%-5% increase in marketing cost efficiency and up to two percentage points EBIT uplift when integrated with BCG’s broader Auto AI tools.

Privacy is a cornerstone of the platform and the system complies with GDPR, CCPA and automotive-specific standards like TISAX.

Data is anonymised and processed under ISO 27001-aligned protocols, overseen by dedicated privacy analysts and compliance teams. These safeguards ensure the platform is both powerful and secure.

BCG has also embedded cybersecurity awareness at an organisational level through its Security Culture & Awareness Program, highlighting the ethical responsibility of every employee in maintaining the firm’s high standards.

Furthermore, Auto AI by BCG X exemplifies how intelligent analytics can create actionable insights at scale, drive commercial gains and meet stringent regulatory requirements.

It does this all while enabling the automotive industry to adapt to fast-evolving consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics.

Slate Technologies

Slate Technologies, headquartered in Pleasanton, California, is a construction technology company developing AI-driven tools for decision-making across complex building projects.

Founded in 2023, the firm’s flagship product, the Slate Decision Assistant, uses Gen AI to synthesise real-time data from disparate sources, offering predictive insights and enabling faster, more accurate decisions across the construction lifecycle.

The platform integrates ML, automation and Internet of Things technologies to address longstanding industry inefficiencies, including fragmented data, poor coordination and cost overruns.

Slate’s solutions are designed to streamline workflows and improve project outcomes, particularly in fast-paced or large-scale construction environments.

The company’s acquisition of Splash Modular has bolstered its capabilities in industrialised and modular construction, aligning with the sector’s shift toward off-site manufacturing.

Led by Chief Executive Officer Trevor Schick and Chief Technology Officer Senthil Kumar, Slate has expanded its global presence with offices in the US, Canada, India and Mexico.

As a result, its AI-first approach is helping to redefine construction management in an era of digital transformation.
