Peter Jackson is Global Head of Data Management at Schroders.
Peter has held senior positions as Chief Data and Technology Officer at Outra, CDAO at Exasol, Group Director of Data Sciences at Legal and General, CDO of LGIM (L&G Investment Management), Chief Data Officer at Southern Water and Head of Data at The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
Peter also spent 17 years providing data strategy consultancy across the not-for-profit sector, financial services and FMCG, working with large multi-national organisations and blue chip brands.
Peter is a specialist in data strategy, data technologies, master data management strategies, data governance frameworks, GDPR and data science.
During the event, Peter will take part in a fireside chat exploring why data strategies are fundamental to effective AI.
Paul Jennings, Head of Technology Services at Kingston University
Paul Jennings is a senior technology and digital change leader with recent experience in healthcare, higher education and critical infrastructure.
In his current role at Kingston University, he provides strategic direction, planning, leadership, guidance and development to dedicated teams of specialists, ensuring that priorities are established and strategic targets met.
He is also responsible for the University's technology services (on-premise and cloud) and the associated operational budgets that underpin them.
Ange Johnson De Wet, Head of Engineering at NatWest
Ange is a Principal Engineer in NatWest’s Commercial and Institutional Bank.
Prior to working at NatWest, Ange was a head of function in Lloyds Banking Group and a Global Programme Manager and Director at Deutsche Bank.
Ange specialises in business and commercial banking, cloud-enabled business transformation, operational technology and cloud risk, data and analytics, capital markets, finance risk and regulatory reporting.
Before working in banking, Ange worked in consulting as a senior manager with EY and a consultant with IBM, working across APAC and EMEA with a focus on business and commercial banking and financial services.
Ange has also worked as a coder, tester, designer, business analyst, programme analyst, project manager and programme manager. She has led business and technology strategies, programme reviews and complex technology enabled business transformations.
During the event, Paul and Ange will take part in the Cloud Migration Strategies panel.
The two will discuss the key considerations for a successful transition, including navigating multi-cloud and hybrid environments, managing security and compliance risks, optimising costs and leveraging AI-driven automation.
Stuart Walters, CIO and Partner at BDO LLP
Stuart is the CIO at BDO. He is responsible for BDO technology services, digital products and innovation.
He has more than 20 years of experience delivering technology services to professional services firms.
Stuart's expertise is in leading large complex teams through digital transformation and innovation.
He joined BDO in January 2017 and is a member of the Operations Board.
During the event, Stuart will take part in the ISV Ecosystems panel.
He will discuss how partnerships between ISVs, cloud providers and enterprises are evolving. Topics will include platform interoperability, AI-driven software development, go-to-market strategies and the challenges of scaling in a competitive market.
