Nazih Battal, Chief Information & Technology Officer at RASHAYS

Nazih Battal is a solutions-focused executive with more than 20 years of experience in leading organisations through technological and application development lifecycles and is now the Chief Information & Technology Officer at RASHAYS.

He focuses on driving revenue growth, streamlining business processes and championing business best practices. 

Nazih is also highly experienced in aligning IT strategies with corporate goals, optimising systems architecture and fostering innovation whilst driving corporate governance across whole business operations.

Technology Magazine recently caught up with Nazih to discover what inspired him to get involved with our awards ceremony, what he hopes to achieve through it and his predictions for the future of the technology and AI industries.

What inspired you to get involved with The Global Tech & AI Awards?

As a CIO with over 25 years in the IT industry, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing how transformative technology and AI can be across industries such as healthcare, professional services and retail.

The opportunity to judge the Global Tech & AI Awards was a natural fit, allowing me to contribute to recognising groundbreaking innovations that shape our future.

I’m passionate about championing visionary leaders, emerging technologies and solutions that drive real-world impact.

What importance do the Tech & AI Awards have to the industry?

These awards serve as a vital platform to celebrate excellence, foster innovation and highlight the pioneers driving digital transformation.
