Google Cloud: Groupe Rocher partner with tech giants

Collaboration will accelerate digitisation and sustainability commitments

Google Cloud and Groupe Rocher today announced ambitious five-year collaboration that will help facilitate the French-owned group's drive towards a sustainable digital transformation.

Groupe Rocher's brands include Arbonne, Yves Rocher and Petit Bateau, who will all gain access to Google Cloud technology, in the expectation of building a highly resilient IT infrastructure.

The digital strategy includes API management to SAP migration and data analytics, to help its brands embrace the potential of the Google cloud, regarded as the cleanest in the industry, to compliment and improve ecommerce and social selling initiatives.

Groupe Rocher will decide which Google Cloud region to use based on its carbon-free energy percentage.

Speaking on behalf of Groupe Rocher is Stanislas Duthier, Groupe Rocher’s CIO, who said:

“We consider Google Cloud as a real partner on our road to sustainable innovation and growth. We will be working together to ensure that the development of our brands can benefit from the resilient, innovative, and reliable cloud technologies and digital expertise of Google, while making sure that our brands also accelerate steadily towards their own sustainability objectives”.

Google Cloud's Managing Director in France is Anthony Cirot, who added:

“We are very proud and honoured to have been selected by Groupe Rocher for our cloud technology and approach to sustainability. We are eager to support its responsible digitisation and join forces in this transformative journey”.
