Manchester United has reached a significant milestone in its HCL Technologies-powered digital transformation journey with the launch of a major new app.

The world's biggest football club, valued at $4.12bn by Forbes in June, is driving a strategy to become a 'Digital Sports Enterprise' in order to engage its global following of 659mn fans.

Through an extensive collaboration with the Indian IT services firm HCL which was first inaugurated in 2015, the club is seeking to explore how technology can transform its operations and services.
