Kate Bohn shares her insights into diversity in technology

Following our successful Technology, AI & Cyber live! event, Technology Magazine reflects on the insights from our speaker, Kate Bohn

Transformational leader, innovation evangelist and connector, Kate Bohn joined us for our event to share her expertise and insight into diversity in the technology industry.

Bohn has over 20 years of experience in financial services having worked at Ipreo, Lloyds Banking Group, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup. With her extensive experience, Bohn is dedicated to focusing her efforts on promoting diversity and inclusion within the financial services industry.

Highlighting her dedication, the transformational leader delivered 50/50 gender parity within the talent pipeline for the Lloyds Banking Group Commercial Banking Markets division in 2017. Bohn has also received a multitude of awards for her work in the technology industry, the most recent being ComputerWeekly.com’s Most Influential Women in UK Tech: The 2021 longlist and Digital Women Awards 2021: 40 Digital Women to Watch.

Currently, Bohn works for Lloyds Banking Group holding the role of LBG Innovation and Strategy - Incubator & Accelerator lead. In this role, her responsibilities include enabling innovation activity across Group Strategic Review (GSR) value streams. She also supports future horizon shaping as Group Transformation lead for engagement with external accelerators and incubators.

Adding to her responsibilities Bohn also drives innovative thought leadership and ways of working through action and shared learning.

With her level of knowledge and expertise in the area of diversity and inclusion in the technology industry, Bohn joined us at the Tobacco Dock to highlight its importance in the workplace today:
