Satya’s career journey
Satya’s passion for technology led him to pursue a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in 1988.
He furthered his education with a Master's in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1990 and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1997.
Joining Microsoft in 1992, Satya held several key positions, including Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group, where he was instrumental in building the company's cloud computing platforms.
