What inspired you to get involved in the event?
I enjoy events where inspirational leaders across industry share their thoughts and ideas on how technology can be used to transform businesses now and in the future.
I want to challenge my own thinking and make sure that I am taking into account the broadest set of perspectives possible so that I can help my business and our customers change the world.
I believe that Tech and AI LIVE provides the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded leaders and to share different perspectives.
Provide an overview of what your keynote/fireside chat will focus on.
The fireside chat will be a wide-ranging discussion on how we are using technology and AI to transform our own business and those of our customers.
Topics will include obtaining board sponsorship, achieving buy-in across the business, addressing ethical and cybersecurity concerns and providing practical examples of how AI is being adopted and transformation is being delivered.
Additionally, it will explore how the CIO role is evolving by incorporating new technologies like AI and also playing a greater part in engaging with teams through a collaborative and growth lens to help drive business value, create partnerships and opportunities that drive sustainable transformation.
What do you hope to achieve through the event?
Sharing actionable insights and perspectives on transformation through the exploitation of technology, including AI, to help others shape their thoughts, direction and plans.
What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of technology and AI over the next decade?
Most companies are still experimenting with AI and trying to demonstrate value while also wrestling with the usual challenges of keeping their environments safe, modernising their estates, focusing on the quality and accessibility of data and rising technology costs.
Over the next 10 years, there will be widespread adoption of highly integrated and embedded AI technologies with rapid advances in capability being driven by vendor innovations, increasing compute power and increased amounts of high-quality and trustworthy data.
However, concerns will remain on societal, ethical and cybersecurity grounds.
