Leading US telecommunications provider Sprint has named software solutions and cloud specialist Synchronoss Technologies to lead its digital transformation efforts.

The transformation initiative, named Sprint Now, will focus on bolstering Sprint’s online presence, with Synchronoss having been selected due to its solutions services offering Sprint the ability to simplify its order management process, generate more revenue and reduce its costs.

“Our Sprint Now transformation program is a multi-dimensional strategy, designed to offer the best possible user experience, while making us more agile, innovative, and profitable,” says Kim Green-Kerr, Senior Vice President, Sprint Business Solutions.

“Our relationship with Synchronoss will help us dramatically simplify our online environment for our business customers, giving them control of their order management and customer care requirements.”

The first stage of the initiative will be focused on improving the company’s customer experience, whilst also looking at the use IoT and the development of Sprint’s value-added solution business.

By streamlining all of its operations into one common platform, Sprint will be much better abled to capitalise on new opportunities and improve its time-to-market for new services.
