Webinar to Watch: AP & Spend Management with Coupa & Rossum

Enterprise technology leaders face mounting pressure as their organisations scale. Fragmented systems, manual workflows and siloed teams create blind spots in spend visibility that could delay payments, introduce errors and limit budget control.
The problem intensifies as technology estates expand. Specialist finance, procurement and IT applications fragment data across multiple platforms in what many call tool sprawl. This lack of integration limits spend visibility and fuels shadow IT, duplicate software subscriptions and manual reconciliation efforts.
For technology leaders seeking agility, the priority has shifted from simple digitisation to connecting systems, teams and data into a unified operating model. Coupa and Rossum are hosting an exclusive webinar on this subject, titled The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on 17 June from 10:00-11:00 BST.
AI architecture in enterprise systems
Solutions exist for teams looking to address these technology challenges. Coupa and Rossum became partners in 2024, and at Coupa Inspire this year the spend management platforms announced an acquisition to expand their partnership, which already automates complex accounts payable invoicing.
The two firms will bring intelligent document processing capabilities to the entire Coupa portfolio. This could enable autonomous spend management through agentic AI.
Customers already benefit from Rossum’s embedded accounts payable capabilities within Coupa. They can now scale that value across all direct and indirect spend.
Powered by a specialised Transactional Large Language Model, Rossum’s expanded intelligent document processing technology could deliver faster processing, cost savings and control over complex invoicing data.
Speaking when the acquisition was announced, Leagh Turner, CEO at Coupa, says: “Rossum changes the game entirely. As a strong partner since 2024, we know there is incredible value in bringing the two companies together across the entire source-to-pay function.
“The combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in AP and invoicing, and we see massive future value in applying Rossum’s T-LLM and AI-first technology across the Coupa platform. We've been able to deliver over US$300bn in customer savings over the past 20 years.”
According to Coupa, Rossum replaces outdated optical character recognition with an AI-first architecture. Powered by a proprietary model trained on tens of millions of documents, its transactional intelligence continuously learns from unique data to deliver time-to-value.
Digital transformation at scale
Coupa and Rossum worked alongside Accenture to support Eurowag, which needed to resolve fragmented manual workflows and siloed operations caused by corporate acquisitions.
The London-based commercial mobility and financial solutions provider standardised its procure-to-pay processes using Coupa.
By replacing disjointed invoice workflows with automated accounts payable solutions and contract lifecycle management across its 2,000-employee footprint, the company established 100% standardised accounts payable processes groupwide. This unlocked complete real-time spend visibility.
The transformation used automated three-way matching to strengthen financial controls to prevent fraud and overpayments, which improved Eurowag’s paid-on-time performance by 30% and elevated compliance and audit readiness.
According to Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag, the ultimate impact of the transformation is clear.
“Coupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices, supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail,” Marcella says.
Professionals will have the chance to hear from those involved in this effort during an exclusive webinar, who will break down the collaborative strategy that modernised Eurowag's operations.
Attendees will also discover how they built a standardised, end-to-end accounts payable process and used AI automation to establish a single source of truth for all spend data.
Technology implementation outcomes
The webinar will cover four areas of the Eurowag transformation. The transformation strategy examines how Eurowag shifted from reactive, manual approaches to proactive, real-time spend management.
The power of integration provides a deep dive into the unified Coupa and Rossum ecosystem and how Accenture designed a core model scalable across 60 global entities.
Tangible business outcomes explore how Eurowag achieved a 70% automation rate, slashed processing time from nine days to just four and boosted on-time payments to more than 90%.
Scaling for the future offers a first look at their 2026 roadmap, focusing on advanced AI strategies and centralised global supplier contracts.
Finance, procurement and IT leaders looking for a practical blueprint to eliminate operational friction and build a data-driven foundation for global growth could attend.
The speakers taking part in the event include four technology and finance experts.
Petr Podávka, Accounts Payable Manager at Eurowag, leads Eurowag’s multi-entity accounts payable operations. He leverages multi-country finance expertise gained at Ricardo Prague, where he managed accounting across three countries.
Alexander Boehme, Manager Solutions Advisory at Coupa, directs presales activities across the Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Central and Eastern Europe regions for Coupa. A total spend management expert, his background includes years of consulting at Emptoris and IBM for major clients like UBS, Siemens Healthineers and Henkel.
Meanwhile, Sam Overton, Regional Vice President at Rossum, helps accounts payable leaders automate operations, eliminate manual processes and maximise efficiency. Drawing on his financial systems experience at SAP, SAP Concur and DocuSign, he specialises in building strategic, cost-effective accounts payable functions.
Finally, Jarda Privoznik, Technology Delivery Associate Director at Accenture, handles large-scale digital transformations for major clients. He serves as Eurowag’s Client Account Lead since 2021. He bridges technology and business to deliver measurable value, specialising in mission-critical platform implementations like SAP and Coupa.
The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility takes place on 17 June, from 10:00-11:00 BST.
