Brand Finance has released its 2026 league table of the world’s most valuable brands â€“ and the AI era is front and centre.

NVIDIA has broken into the top five, a move that mirrors the surge of AI and its role in powering global AI infrastructure.

The company jumpsed from ninth in 2025 to fifth this year, overtaking TikTok and Facebook.

Its brand value now stands at US$184.3bn – US$30.8bn more than TikTok and US$77.2bn more than Facebook – and it places sixth in Brand Finance’s 2026 ranking of the world’s strongest brands.

NVIDIA’s climb: Systems, DGX and scale

NVIDIA’s climb has been dramatic, with its brand value up 110% since 2025.

While many rivals sold standalone chips, NVIDIA sold complete systems, establishing itself as a leading AI hardware supplier.

With the Deep GPU Xceleration (DGX) line – an AI supercomputer in a box – the company gave enterprises a turnkey option that can replace months of in-house build time.

From its origins in 3D gaming graphics, NVIDIA has evolved into a world-renowned AI operation, serving both personal computing and large-scale business needs.

It also focuses on DPUs (Data Processing Units) for data centres, while continuing to offer graphics and gaming cards for individual customers.

By catering to different types of customers at varying scales, NVIDIA helps guarantee its growth – and its focus on AI software and hardware ensures its strategy has room to develop.

New entrants: OpenAI and Revolut

New entrants to Brand Finance's league table underline the AI momentum.

OpenAI has made its debut at 178 with a brand value of US$14.1bn.

The company's arrival – after not featuring at all last year – puts OpenAI in the top 40% of the 500 most valuable brands and demonstrates how AI’s growth has catapulted from 2025 to 2026.

Its latest offering is ChatGPT Health, expanding the uses of its services further.

Revolut has also made its first appearance, entering 393rd place, as the fastest-growing brand among the top 500.

The UK fintech’s brand value more than tripled in 2026, supported by expansion into new markets including Mexico and India and exceptionally strong global brand advocacy.

Revolut announced this week that it would enable shopping directly via AI chatbots in Europe, making its “one-tap” checkout solution compatible across the emerging landscape of agentic commerce.

A pivotal moment for brand value

Overall, Brand Finance’s 2026 report marks a pivotal moment: the AI revolution is no longer a future prospect but the primary engine of brand value.

NVIDIA’s meteoric rise to fifth – surpassing cultural mainstays like TikTok and Facebook – signals a shift in power from the platforms that host content to the infrastructure that powers intelligence.
