Leading telecom provider Ooredoo integrates Nvidia Hopper GPUs to boost AI services, fast-tracking digital transformation for Qatar's key industries

In the pursuit of engineering the next frontier in technological advancement, Qatari telco Ooredoo is integrating cutting-edge sovereign AI cloud services leveraging the latest Nvidia Hopper GPUs.

These services are strategically housed within its local data centres to enhance Qatar's national AI strategy and digital transformation efforts.

Ooredoo's initiative aims to redefine the operational landscape across various sectors by embedding high-performance computing capabilities within the nation's infrastructure.

By hosting advanced AI applications locally and negating dependency on international data channels, Ooredoo fosters an environment conducive to swift AI adoption in key sectors such as energy, finance, logistics, healthcare and emerging smart city developments.

‘Sovereign’ AI infrastructure to advance adoption

Globally, countries are increasingly prioritising the development of sovereign AI capabilities to strengthen their digital economies and fortify security measures.

Local development teams gain access to advanced tools necessary for innovating AI-powered solutions such as chatbots and optimised supply chains, hosted securely within Ooredoo’s facilities and operated by Syntys.

The mission-critical infrastructure is specifically designed to accommodate demanding high-performance computing workloads.
