Technology set to Take Centre Stage at The Global Awards

The Global Awards 2026 will bring together leading minds and organisations from across sustainability, procurement and supply chain, with this year's ceremony placing a strong focus on recognising AI-led innovation.

The black-tie gala dinner is set to take place on 8 September at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, following Day 1 of The London Summit. The event unites three established award shows under one roof, with The Global Sustainability Awards, The Global Procurement Awards and The Global Supply Chain Awards all being presented on the night.

The evening will celebrate the people and businesses shaping the future of responsible, efficient and innovative operations. This year's ceremony reflects the growing role of technology and AI in driving progress across all three sectors, with four categories in particular dedicated to recognising digital solutions and the transformative impact of emerging tech.

The Global Sustainability Awards 2026

The Tech & AI Award

The Tech & AI Award will recognise organisations and initiatives harnessing digital innovation, emerging technologies and AI to accelerate sustainability progress. The category highlights solutions that deliver meaningful environmental and social benefits, and shows how technology can improve operational efficiency, enhance transparency and drive more informed decision-making.

Entries will be evaluated on how effectively technology or AI has been deployed to address a specific sustainability challenge – and the measurable outcomes achieved. Judges will look for evidence of tangible impact, including improvements in resource efficiency, emissions reduction, social outcomes or other sustainability metrics.

The award also recognises initiatives that strengthen data-driven decision-making, streamline processes and create greater organisational effectiveness. Entrants are expected to demonstrate the level of innovation behind their solution, as well as its potential to be scaled, replicated or adapted across different sectors, industries and regions.

The Global Procurement Awards 2026

AI in Procurement Award

The AI in Procurement Award will celebrate organisations using AI to transform procurement processes and enable smarter decision-making. The category salutes innovative applications of AI that deliver measurable value, enhance insights and strengthen procurement strategies.

Entries will be assessed on how AI has been integrated into procurement operations, as well as any discernible improvements in efficiency, forecasting, supplier management, cost optimisation or risk reduction.

The award also highlights initiatives that demonstrate innovation, share valuable learnings, and show how AI can support the future of procurement.

Procurement Technology Award

The Procurement Technology Award will salute organisations using innovative digital solutions to enhance procurement performance. The category celebrates technology that improves visibility, automates processes and creates greater value across the procurement function.

Entries will be evaluated on the solution implemented, improvements delivered and measurable impact on efficiency, collaboration, decision-making and wider business outcomes.

The award aims to highlight forward-thinking approaches that set new standards for digital procurement and demonstrate the future potential of technology-enabled operations.

Digital Supply Chain Award

Completing the technology-focused categories, the Digital Supply Chain Award will celebrate organisations using digital innovation to create smarter, more agile and efficient supply chain operations. It recognises the use of data, automation and advanced technologies to improve visibility, connectivity and overall performance.

Entries will be judged on the digital tools or platforms implemented, the improvements achieved and the measurable impact on areas such as efficiency, resilience, collaboration and decision-making.

The award spotlights organisations that demonstrate how digital transformation can deliver lasting value and support long-term supply chain strategies.
