Senior Manager Matt Fiorino explains how the University of Cincinnati optimises Anaplan workflows & will use agentic AI to upgrade administrative tools

Matt Fiorino, Senior Manager at Deloitte, details the firm’s partnership with the University of Cincinnati (UC) as they modernise the 200-year-old institution’s legacy infrastructure.

The initiative focuses on meticulous early planning through the ERP Futures Program, laying a foundation for executive governance, establishing a business case and assessing total costs across HR, finance and student systems.

The digital transformation spans key operational upgrades, including optimising UC’s Anaplan budgeting software and plans to deploy agentic AI from vendors like Oracle and Workday.

By automating routine administrative tasks – such as grant processing and data summaries – the university frees up staff to focus directly on supporting students.

In this video, Matt highlights how Deloitte’s holistic approach breaks down institutional silos, creating a single source of truth that empowers UC with real-time analytics for long-term, data-driven decision-making.
