The initiative focuses on meticulous early planning through the ERP Futures Program, laying a foundation for executive governance, establishing a business case and assessing total costs across HR, finance and student systems.

The digital transformation spans key operational upgrades, including optimising UC’s Anaplan budgeting software and plans to deploy agentic AI from vendors like Oracle and Workday. 

By automating routine administrative tasks – such as grant processing and data summaries – the university frees up staff to focus directly on supporting students.
