PepsiCo and Infosys collaboration delivers digital transformation with a unified Sales+ platform serving 500,000 weekly store visits

PepsiCo has transformed its sales operations for PepsiCo Foods North America through a strategic collaboration with Infosys, consolidated dozens of legacy applications into a unified, mobile-first unified Sales+ platform. 

The collaboration leverages a 25-year relationship between the companies to deliver what Infosys describes as the world's largest Xamarin mobile implementation. The initiative addressed PepsiCo’s need to modernise a complex go-to-market system whilst preserving operational efficiency for more than 25,000 Field Sales professional performing 500,000 weekly store visits. 

Infosys played a central role in shaping the technical architecture, delivering ERP like capabilities with full offline functionality across consumer-grade devices. The alliance achieved 99.99% uptime through co-innovation in end-to-end test automation. Automation-based interventions addressed technical debt, optimized engineering effort, significantly improving developer productivity. The Sales+ platform incorporates features including digital planograms, digital asset management, proactive notifications, paperless proof of delivery, and mobile banking capabilities.
