Day Two at SAP Sapphire delivered another full day of exciting show floor, showcase and session experiences.

The event kicked off with a fresh perspective on how SAP customers are bringing out their best. Chief Revenue Officer Scott Russell and SAP Product Engineering Head Thomas Saueressig shared compelling stories from industry leaders about how they are bringing their vision to life and delivering results for their businesses with SAP’s tools and technology, while also revealing the news that SAP would acquire digital adoption leader WalkMe.

The show floor remained active with more than 300 session offerings and closed with an inspirational keynote from Academy Award Winning Actress, Producer, and Founder Reese Witherspoon, who showed us how she uses her platform in Hollywood to create engaging new stories through the founding of her media company, Hello Sunshine.

David Vallejo, VP Global Head of Digital Supply Chain Product Marketing at SAP, shed light on the company's cutting-edge innovations driving digital supply chain solutions. Vallejo highlighted SAP's integration of AI tools like the conversational chatbot Joule, enabling streamlined processes. He also emphasised how customer feedback shapes SAP's product roadmap, with upcoming milestones focused on emerging trends such as sustainability, real-time visibility and predictive analytics, and provided a glimpse into SAP’s future plans.

Etosha Thurman, Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network, shared her perspectives on the company's innovative solution for managing spend and supplier networks effectively.

Thurman provided an overview of SAP's Intelligent Spend and Business Network, highlighting its key value propositions in addressing the challenges organisations face, such as lack of visibility, inefficient processes, and disconnected systems.

A major focus was on how SAP leverages cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to drive better decision-making and outcomes for customers. Thurman shed light on how these capabilities enable organisations to optimize spending, mitigate risks, and foster stronger supplier collaborations.
