EY, Nvidia & Dell Target Regulated Sectors With AI Offering

EY has unveiled a comprehensive on-premises AI platform, dubbed 'EY.ai enterprise private', created through partnerships with technology leaders Dell and Nvidia.
As one of the Big Four global consulting organisations, EY possesses extensive experience in analysing corporate data and leveraging insights to drive transformational business growth.
Consequently, EY anticipates that launching its bespoke AI platform will accelerate the consulting capabilities it delivers to clients.
A focus on highly regulated sectors
EY's latest AI platform has been specifically engineered for organisations operating within heavily regulated industries, where data sovereignty and security requirements make public cloud AI solutions inappropriate.
Companies facing critical operational requirements, regulatory oversight and substantial on-premises data dependencies will particularly gain from this private deployment approach.
Research from McKinsey indicates that 78% of global businesses currently employ AI for at least one operational function, yet advancing AI implementation in these heavily regulated industries demands more specialised solutions.
Through its new platform, EY aims to empower organisations in such sectors to retain full data control whilst accessing AI capabilities.
The collaboration with Nvidia and Dell enables EY to tackle cybersecurity challenges head-on by providing enterprises with a secure alternative to public cloud platforms, whilst preserving the adaptability and ease of cloud services.
This represents a service that Nvidia has been assisting businesses to implement for some time, extending AI capabilities to sectors previously unable to benefit from such technology.
"As we move further into this new era of technological innovation, it is critical for enterprises to evolve with and invest in technologies and infrastructure at the forefront of innovation to fully unlock the transformative benefits of AI," says John Roese, Global CTO and Chief AI Officer at Dell Technologies.
The architecture of EY's newest AI solution
The EY.ai enterprise private solution will incorporate Nvidia's Blackwell accelerated computing technology, sophisticated networking solutions and AI Enterprise software components, all designed to help organisations effectively deploy and scale AI operations.
Dell Technologies will supply the infrastructure to complement Nvidia's computing capabilities.
Combined, these elements create a validated AI architecture that guarantees high performance.
Key system features include streamlined development and deployment workflows, scalable data processing for model training and inference, and adaptable execution frameworks for autonomous AI operations.
The platform accommodates various applications including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), on-demand training and dynamic AI agents deployable across cloud or on-premises environments.
Agentic AI will represent a particular area of emphasis for EY moving forward.
"Agentic AI serves as a catalyst for a new era — where autonomous systems and humans converge to redefine business," says Matt Barrington, CTO and Global AI Technology Leader at EY Americas.
"Successful implementation of agentic AI requires a comprehensive approach to address technical and organisational complexities — and this solution provides a flexible blueprint for seamless integration while also helping organisations confidently scale AI with a private environment, when needed."
The outlook for EY.ai enterprise platform
EY's recent AI Pulse Survey reveals that 83% of global organisations believe AI adoption could be accelerated if high-quality data were more accessible.
Through delivering a unified strategic methodology — customised for specific industry requirements and supported by an exceptionally valuable dataset — EY's new platform could facilitate precisely that.
"AI is evolving rapidly, with leading enterprises now scaling productivity and their operations with intelligent AI agents," explains John Fanelli, Vice President, Enterprise Software at Nvidia.
"Together, Nvidia, EY and Dell Technologies are enabling businesses to put their data to work in enterprise AI factories that drive insights and innovation at unprecedented scale."
