CoreWeave’s AI-focused cloud is becoming a cornerstone for the industry’s largest model developers, with OpenAI, Meta and Anthropic all tapping the company’s GPU infrastructure to power cutting-edge workloads.

CoreWeave has supported OpenAI since March 2025 under a series of major agreements: an initial US$11.9bn contract, followed by a US$4bn expansion in May and another US$6.5bn in September.

Meta signs through 2032

Meta has agreed to approximately US$21bn in AI cloud capacity through December 2032.

The dedicated resources will be distributed across multiple locations and will include some of the first deployments of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, a design intended to optimise performance, resilience and scalability for Meta’s AI operations.

“This is another example that leading companies are choosing CoreWeave’s AI cloud to run their most demanding workloads,” says Michael Intrator, Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of CoreWeave.

“Our newest deal with Meta brings our announced total with them to over US$35bn in six months. These are not small bets. The leader builders of AI are choosing us and doubling down.”

Anthropic locks in

CoreWeave will also support Anthropic’s Claude family of AI models, including Project Glasswing, described as an ambitious and urgent effort to secure critical software.

The multi-year agreement brings compute online later this year, starting with a phased infrastructure roll-out and the potential to expand over time.

“AI is no longer just about infrastructure, it’s about the platforms that turn models into real-world impact,” Michael says.

“We’re excited to work with Anthropic at the centre of where models are put to work and performance in production shows up. It’s exactly the kind of real-world deployment of AI that CoreWeave was built for.”

Industry trajectory

The agreements underscore a broader industry shift: high-performance, specialised infrastructure is now foundational for training and serving large-scale AI workloads.

With Anthropic’s addition, CoreWeave says nine of the leading ten AI model providers now leverage its platform.
