Google has made its flagship AI video generation tool widely available on cloud platform as enterprise adoption accelerates with 6 million videos created

Google shocked the world in May 2025 with the release of what observers believe to be the most advanced AI-powered video generation software on the market — Veo 3. All it requires to create vivid, high quality videos is a text prompt.

Since its launch, users have created more than 70 million videos using Veo 3, ranging from the fantastical to the hyperreal, and from the playful to the professional.

It is the latter category on which Google is currently focusing.

The US-based firm has made Veo 3 generally available via Vertex AI this week, throwing open its doors to enterprises that want to access the technology.

The launch comes alongside Veo 3 Fast, a speed-optimised variant designed for rapid iteration and testing.

Since its preview launch in June, enterprise customers have generated over 6 million videos using the platform, demonstrating substantial corporate demand for AI video creation capabilities.

Design platform Canva has already integrated the technology into its software, enabling users to create marketing and social media content.

"Enabling anyone to bring their ideas to life – especially their most creative ones – has been core to Canva's mission ever since we set out to empower the world to design," says Cameron Adams, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Canva.

Cameron notes that the integration allows users to create high-quality video content within existing Canva subscriptions.

Agency applications emerge

Advertising agencies are finding practical applications for the technology in production workflows.

BarkleyOKRP has used Veo 3 to accelerate video production timelines, with Senior Vice President Client Experience Julie Ray Barr highlighting improvements in voice synchronisation.

"The rapid advancements from Veo 2 to Veo 3 within such a short time frame on this project have been nothing short of remarkable," Julie explains.

The agency recreated multiple music videos initially produced with Veo 2 to take advantage of enhanced lip-sync capabilities.

Global content localisation

Financial services firm eToro has deployed the technology for international marketing campaigns across 75 countries.

"With Veo 3, we produced 15 fully AI‑generated versions of our ad, each in the native language of its market, all while capturing real emotion at scale," says Shay Chikotay, Head of Creative & Content at eToro.

Interactive agency Razorfish, part of Publicis Groupe, combined Veo with other Vertex AI tools including Gemini and Imagen for a Visit Orlando campaign.

Technical capabilities expand

Veo 3 generates native audio alongside video content, enabling creators to produce scenes with accurate lip-syncing and contextual sound effects.

The system outputs 1080p high-definition video suitable for professional marketing and communications.

Veo 3 Fast targets use cases requiring quick turnaround times, including ad concept testing and product demonstration creation.

Image-to-video functionality will enter public preview in August, allowing users to animate static images into eight-second video clips.

Enterprise security features

Google has embedded SynthID digital watermarks into every frame to address concerns about misinformation and content attribution.

The service includes indemnity coverage for generative AI services, addressing enterprise liability concerns.

Synthetic media company Synthesia plans to integrate Veo 3 with its AI avatar technology for contextually adaptive video content.

"By combining our hyper-realistic AI avatars and voices with Veo-powered fully contextual visuals that adapt to each unique story, we're giving enterprise teams the creative power to communicate with unrivalled clarity and impact," says Bill Leaver, Product Manager at Synthesia.

The general availability represents Google's push to compete in the enterprise AI video generation market as businesses increasingly seek automated content creation solutions.
