Two of these announcements include the launch of NetSuite Next, a next-generation AI-powered cloud ERP designed to make business processes more collaborative, insightful, adaptive and trustworthy, alongside significant expansions to the SuiteCloud Platform, enabling customers, partners and developers to integrate leading AI models, build custom AI agents called SuiteAgents.

In debuting NetSuite Next and major enhancements to SuiteCloud, Oracle is placing collaborative, explainable AI at the core of enterprise operations – enabling businesses to drive productivity, adaptability and innovation while retaining reliability and control.

NetSuite Next: Redefining intuitive, collaborative AI ERP

NetSuite Next is Oracle NetSuite’s landmark evolution of cloud ERP, embedding practical AI throughout business workflows.

It brings together conversational intelligence, agentic workflows and advanced natural language search in an interface designed for collaborative, confident decision-making.

The new platform’s core includes Ask Oracle, a natural language assistant that instantly searches, analyses and acts on an organisation’s entire NetSuite dataset – spanning customisations, partner apps and proprietary data.

Every answer from Ask Oracle is grounded in real business context and accompanied by explanations of the “how” and “why” behind each response, ensuring trust, auditability and transparency.

“NetSuite Next puts AI to work for businesses by making it a natural extension of the way they already work,” says Evan Goldberg, Founder and EVP of Oracle NetSuite.

“With the latest AI innovations built in, NetSuite Next can deliver powerful insights as well as autonomously complete repetitive and complex tasks, all with enterprise-level reliability.

“Every insight and action is rooted in data and governed by the existing roles, permissions and policies our customers depend on. It enables users to discover patterns in their business and engage with NetSuite in their own words, all while understanding an individual user’s context, so it can deliver answers and actions that provide immediate value.”

NetSuite Next’s blend of adaptability and simplicity sets it apart. Customers can upgrade at the press of a button, with no disruptive migrations or loss of customisation. Innovations  in the space are delivered securely via Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), governed by existing roles, permissions and compliance policies.

AI-driven workspaces and workflows

Upgrading to NetSuite Next is frictionless, with existing customers able to opt in with a single click, keeping all customisations intact.

OCI provides the secure, scalable backbone to this evolution, combining unified data with auditable, explainable AI and the modern Redwood Design System.

New NetSuite Next practical AI features include:
  • AI Canvas, a collaborative workspace embedded directly in NetSuite where teams can analyse problems, brainstorm solutions and trigger agentic workflows visually
  • Narrative summaries and insights, where automated explanations and insights proactively surface trends and correlations, enabling users to catch risks and opportunities early
  • Agentic workflows: Proactive AI-driven workflows automate tasks like payment proposals, vendor selection, reconciliation and supply chain management, allowing users to approve decisions or let AI agents act autonomously
  • Document and knowledge integration is powered by LLMs that extract, validate and act on documents, turning isolated invoices, contracts and policy guides into useful, actionable workflows

SuiteCloud: Extending and customising AI in NetSuite

The updated SuiteCloud Platform lets customers, partners and developers embed leading AI models, build custom AI agents and design AI-powered workflows.

“It has always been important to me that NetSuite is flexible and adaptable so that our customers can support their unique and ever-changing business needs,” Evan adds.

“Today, we are taking that flexibility and adaptability to a new level.

“The new capabilities in SuiteCloud will help our customers and partners transform how AI works for business by giving them the ability to quickly and easily build AI agents, connect external AI assistants, and orchestrate AI processes.”

SuiteCloud innovations that customers will benefit from include:

  • AI Connector Service: The secure, open integration of preferred AI models using the Model Context Protocol enables granular data governance and custom prompts for external assistants
  • SuiteAgent frameworks: Integrated development tools allow for building, deploying and managing business-specific AI agents
  • AI Toolkits: APIs exposing NetSuite’s own AI services – including document analysis and narrative reporting – for use in custom SuiteApps and extensions.
  • AI Assistants and Studios: These accelerate coding and workflow design, while granting admins and business users full control over AI reasoning, outputs and interactions

For partners, these innovations provide opportunities to embed industry-optimised AI in their solutions, automate specialised processes and fine-tune features for every vertical.
