Wipro Launches AI-Powered Security Service With CrowdStrike
Wipro has announced an expanded partnership with CrowdStrike to launch CyberShield MDR, a managed security service designed to address the growing complexity facing enterprise security operations.
With this new AI-powered unified managed security service, the two firms are looking to tackle an emerging problem that they have identified in the ever-shifting world of cybersecurity.
The problem? That organisations are struggling with overwhelming alert volumes from disconnected security tools that fail to prevent breaches.
CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM platform will be key to the creation of CyberShield MDR, which will combine native Falcon platform data with third-party security information and real-time threat intelligence to create a well-rounded service for the modern enterprise.
Going global
Wipro plans to deliver the service through eight Cyber Defence Centres strategically positioned worldwide, staffed by the company's many cybersecurity specialists.
The service incorporates technology from Wipro Ventures' portfolio companies Simbian and Tuskira, creating what the partners describe as an integrated approach to threat detection and response.

Tony emphasises that the integrated platform approach enables automated workflows while preventing lateral threat movement and eliminating security gaps often associated with fragmented solutions.

The partnership addresses mounting pressure on security operations centres to manage increasingly sophisticated threats whilst dealing with tool sprawl across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity management and data protection systems.
CrowdStrike's Chief Business Officer, Daniel Bernard, positioned the collaboration as a solution to operational complexity.
