Technology Magazine highlights 10 of the leading no-code tools, from app development platforms to helping with marketing strategies and building AI models

With the technology industry facing an ongoing shortage of workers with tech skills, no-code platforms have emerged as a transformative opportunity for businesses. According to Gartner, the no-code and low-code platform market will be worth US$12.3bn in 2024.

Allowing anyone to build apps and automate workflows using a visual interface – with no coding or technical skills required – these tools experienced a dramatic rise in adoption over the past few years due to the acceleration of digital transformation from the pandemic, and that growth continues to gain momentum.

With that in mind, Technology Magazine explores 10 of the top no-code tools in 2023, helping businesses in a number of ways from app development to building AI models.

10: Mailchimp

Mailchimp is an email and marketing automations platform for growing businesses, empowering millions of customers around the world to start and grow their businesses with world-class marketing technology, award-winning customer support, and inspiring content. 9: Bubble

No-code point-and-click web editor and cloud hosting platform Bubble enables users to design, develop and launch production-grade applications without a single line of code.

In October the company announced new no-code tools in generative AI and mobile application development. Bubble AI, the company's new generative AI tool, will enable builders to create options for dynamic web page layouts automatically from a simple text prompt, including dashboards, profile pages, galleries, social feeds and more.

With over 3.5 million creators currently building and launching businesses, Bubble has empowered developers from Fortune 500 and tech companies like L'Oreal, HP, Veed.io, Lyft, Rappi, HubSpot, VMware and Zendesk.

8: Amazon SageMaker Canvas

Amazon SageMaker Canvas enables business analysts and data science teams to build their own models without having to write a single line of code.

SageMaker is built on Amazon’s two decades of experience developing real-world ML applications, including product recommendations, personalisation, intelligent shopping, robotics and voice-assisted devices.

Amazon SageMaker aims to simplify and accelerate the process of building and deploying machine learning models, making it more accessible to developers and data scientists who may not have specialised expertise in managing the underlying infrastructure.

7: Zapier

Zapier is a no-code automation tool that connects thousands of apps and services. It lets users create automated workflows, or Zaps, without any coding knowledge. 

A leader in no-code automation, Zapier’s platform integrates with 6,000+ apps from partners like Google, Salesforce and Microsoft.

6: Akkio
